Date 21/12/2005 Guided by the Standing
Party Committee, the Port and Coal Trading Company
held the 60th anniversary of the Foundation
Day of the Vietnam People 's Army
(22/12/1944-22/12/2005) and 16 years of the
National Defense Festival to review the glorious
tradition of our Army and to conclude the
activities of the Vietnam Veterans Organization in
2005, to set up its development plans in
2006 and to make efforts to help the company
develop stably. |

Date 07/11/2005 In harmony with the
gay atmosphere celebrating the success of the 12th
Conference of Quang Ninh Party Committee, the 69th
Traditional Day of Coal Miners, the PACTCO Club
held the 2005 Theatrical Festival of the Masses
with the participation of more than 90 Cadres -
performers, divided in to 3 groups with 27
distinctive items such as: chorus, twin-dance,
group dance... The Port group got the first
prize then the Office group and the Production
group respectively.

Date 21/10/2005 In response to the
emulation movement set by the Union standing
committee of the VINACOAL, the standing committees
of the three companies : The Port and Coal Trading
Co; The Quality Control and the Materials;
Transport and Discharge Co have registered with
the VINACOAL their combination in starting a
highly pitched competing month" to
upgrade the quality of management, operation,
inspection and discharge of the transit
coal". To make achievements celebrating the
76th anniversary of the Tradition Day of Coal
Miners, 37 years of the meeting between Uncle Ho
and the representative delegation of the Coal
working staff (15/11/1968 - 15/11/2005), a signing
ceremony of the emulation movement was held at
Hall A, Port and Coal Trading Company. |

Date 19/10/2005 At Hall A, Port and
Coal Trading Company, the 75th anniversary of the
Traditional Day of the Party - building Committees
and the Party - Committee Levels has been held to
review the glorious, historic stages of the
management, mobilization of the people and the
operation of the party committee levels. To
participate in the meeting, there came Mr. Doan
Thien Ngon - Party committee Secretary, Director
of the company; members of the standing
committee; the party staff committee; Secretaries
of party-cells; Heads of the management staff of
organizations.. |

Date 05/10/2005 At the Big Hall
of the Port and Coal Trading Company, the Director
and the Company Union held a five year concluding
conference (2000-2005) on the People's Inspection
Work to evaluate its effectiveness during the
part years and to set up the policies of
organization and activities of the Board of
Investigations in the years to come, aiming at
betterment of the activities and the
implementation of the inspection rights of the
cadres as well as the laborers in the application
of the policies of law and the regulations of
democracy in the bases. Nearly 60 delegates
representing the Board of management, the relevant
departments, the people's Inspection
sub-committees attended the conference which
resulted in its great success. |

On
28th, March,2005,
The VPA’s
chairman Tran van On hosted the meeting between
Campha port with the
executive
and VPA’s secretarial boards. On the
secretary side, attendants included: Mr. Ho Kim
Lan-general secretary, Mr. Le van Thao, Nguyen
Manh Ha, Le Viet Nam. The Cam pha port included
Mr. Doan Thien Ngon- director, Pham Minh
Son-chief of the secretariat of Cam Pha port. A
consensus has been reached on the time of
organizing the 2005 Annual Conference in Quang
Ninh Province in 3 days from 27th to 29th, July,
2005. The Conference will be held at Heritage
Halong Hotel. It has been a consent to give the
Campha port to prepare material facilities and
report for the VPA executive board’s approval.

On
28th, March,2005, On
the occasion of 70thTraditional Day of Military
(28th March,1935-28th March, 2005). The Port and
Coal Company organized a celebration at the Big
Hall. Participants were commanders, deputy
commanders from Campha Military, leaders from the
coal sectors, and secretaries of party executive
committees, director, commander, deputy commanders
and nearly 100 staffs from the port and coal
trading company.
