30/11/2007 at 7.30 AM. the OCEAN EAGLE of GREEK nationality, it has 74,761DWT and ever entered Cam Pha port.. This is the biggest cargo vessel that has ever entered a port in Vietnam, The OCEAN EAGLE  is 224.9m in length and 32.26m in width, the draft line of 14.1m with 7 holds made and 4 cranes 40T each will receive 55,000 Tons  of coal (34,000 tons of coal dust and 21,000 tons of lump coal ) for SSM, a Holland customer in Europe. It is estimated that our productivity reaches 18 million tons in this year, the highest number compared with other ports. The fact that the OCEAN EAGLE landed at the new whaft of Cam Pha Port has marked an important point  in the investment task of the Vinacomin Group in general, and the Vinacomin-Port Company in particular, in the economy-increasing strategy of the Port. 
26/12/2006 10.30-Cam Pha Port. The Vinacomin celebrated the loading of the 36 millionth ton of coal in 2006 to Chu Lai- a vessel of the Middle Coal Company, which has received 4,400 tons of coal at berth. To participate in the celebration, there comes Mr. Doan Van Kien, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Civil Affairs Committee and General Director together with many leaders of the Vinacomin. On behalf of the Vinacomin, Mr. Doan Thien Ngon has sent flowers and fine arts made of coal to the officers and seafarers working on the vessel. 
13/11/2006 According to a recent decision of The Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group, since 01/11/2006, all of the vessels' shipment in HonGai has been moved to HonNet and ABay anchorages. On 13/11/2006 the coal output of the Vinacomin-Port Company reached a record number of 50,328 T for 12 vessels.
10/11/2006 The Vinacomin-Port Company has fulfilled the plan based on the legal Order No.530 QĐ-KHZ issued on 22/02/2005 by the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group for 2006 with the total output of 29,758,000 T, about 101.7% as compared with the planned output of 29,248,000 T
14/08/2006 The Board of Management of the Vinacomin-Port Co. held a discussion with the USDG 3-member team, led by Mr.Michael Christopher- Lieutenant Commander, in their visit to some of the Vietnamese seaports in order to exchange information on the security measures taken in compliance with the ISPS Code. After having listened to the report on Port and Port Facility Security of the Vinacomin-Port Co., the USDG made a trip visit to the berths of Cam Pha Port. The US side made good comments on the implementation of the port's security regulations. The discussion took place in a friendship and mutual understanding atmosphere
22/06/2006 The 71,761DWT Go Public made a good landfall at the new wharf- Cam Pha Port. Following the successful reception of the 70,000DWT Baramundi on 13 Feb at Cam Pha Port, the Vinacomin-Port Company( of the Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Group) at 14p.m today, 22 June welcomed the landfall of the 71,761DWT Go Public. This is the biggest cargo vessel that has ever entered a port in Vietnam( bigger vessels have to stay at the anchorage for cargo-handling). The Go Public of Bahamas nationality, 223.7m in length and 32.2m in width, is a craneless, panamax-typed vessel with 7 holds. The most interesting fact is that the vessel has been received at the new wharf of Cam Pha Port, a construction in the project 
" Cam Pha Port- Its Improvement and Extension", which has been recently completed and brought in to use by Vinacomin Group. The new wharf, built under the most modern concrete-filled foundation pile technology, is 250m long, 50m long and 9m deep, capable to receive over 70,000 DWT vessels. The Go Public will load up to 67,500 tons of coal (49,500 tons of coal dust and 18,000 tons of lump coal ) for SSM, a Holland customer in Europe. The fact that the Go Public landed at the new whaft of Cam Pha Port has marked an important point  in the investment task of the Vinacomin Group in general, and the Vinacomin-Port Company in particular, in the economy-increasing strategy of the Port. 
24/03/2006  In harmony with the exciting atmosphere of the youth over the country in holding activities celebrating the Foundation Day of the HCM Communist Youth Union, welcoming the 2006 Month of Action, the Youth Union of the company, under the leadership of the standing Party Committee, solemnly held the 75th Anniversary of the Foundation Day of the Youth Union. In the anniversary, many mementoes 'For the Youth' were given to former cadres who have made good  records in the youth movements of the HCM Communist  Youth Union.  Also in this occasion, the awards of the competition on Finding about the 75 Years of the Glorious History of the HCM Communist Youth Union were offered.

  22/03/2006 After more than one year under construction, the project on the improvement and extension of Cam Pha Port has been basically completed. Vinamarine has agreed by texts to postpone the deadline for the new wharf to be brought into use. This morning, the Vinacomin-Port Company has welcomed the first vessel, the STAR POLLUX, to port. This vessel, of Greek nationality, 43,775 MT, 190m long, 32.5 wide, with 4 cranes 30T each will receive 22,000 Tons  of coal at berth and the rest off-shore at Hon Net.  
01/03/2006 The Opening Ceremony of the Communicative English class for port  management and exploitation was held at the big hall with the participation of  Mr. Doan Thien Ngon, Secretary of the communist  party, Director of the Company; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thuy and  Mr. Nguyen Manh Quan from the Personnel Department together with 50 learners from different rooms in the company. This is the first English class held and taught by a teacher in concurrent  post of the company. 
24/01/2006 The Company Youth Union held the meeting concluding its tasks and movements in the year 2005 and planning those for the year 2006. The year 2005 has witnessed lots of important political events as the communist party meetings of all levels preparing for the 10th National Party Congress, 69 years of the Traditional Day of the mine working people 12/11, the presence of the Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Group before the public...
07.00 am-13/02/2006 The MV BARAMUNDI,70,000 DWT of PANAMA safely got alongside the main wharf. This has been the MV with the biggest tonnage to Cam Pha Port and even to Vietnam so far. It was built in 1994, 225m in length, 32m in width, the draft line of 13.3m with 7 holds, 4 cranes, 30T each. To receive such   big vessels, the Vinacomin-Port Company has continuously invested on the improvement of the port for years, especially the extension of 250m of the old port towards the downstream and the dredging of the channel from Buoy zero. The BARAMUNDI will receive 32,000T of coal dust( 17,400T of size No 6 and 14,800T of size No 8) at berth, the rest will be loaded at Hon Net, preparing for the journey to Japan, for the customer SUMITOMO. This signals a new year of growth of Vinacomin-Port Company 
27/01/2006  Mr. Doan van Kien, Deputy Secretary of the Party Staff, General Director of the Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Group came to visit the Vinacomin -Port Company on the occasion of the new year to come.
08.00 am- 13/01/2006 The 2006 Meeting of working people and officials was solemnly held at the Big Hall of the Company. To participate in and to conduct the meeting, there came leaders of the VINACOMIN and 112 out of 120 delegates representing the working people from all units of the company. The meeting carried out the review on the implementation of the 2005 resolution and set up the 2006 plans. The meeting also conduct the summation on the emulation movements of the 2005 plan; gave rewards to out standing groups and individuals and initiated the new movements for the year 2006. The whole meeting has agreed to pass the resolution and determined to fulfill the expected tasks 

01/01/2006 : 07h00 The Vessel CHULAI, 4,505 DWT, of Vietnam nationality and  The Vessel MARIA C, 45,205 DWT, of Panama nationality came into Port to load the first tones of coal of the year 2006. The Board of Management of the Port and Coal Trading Company got on board and sent them best wishes on the new year occasion.
30/12/2005 : 08h00 Under the guidance of VINACOAL, the Port and Coal Trading Company, in accordance with the main office and sub-divisions of VINACOAL, Cua Ong Coal Preparation Company held the Ceremony welcoming the 30 millionth tone of coal consumed in the year 2005.   24/12/2005  : 20h30 The Cam Pha Port Enterprise and The Port and Coal Trading Company held the Christmas Night on Cong Tay Island for more than 40 seafarers of 5 Vessels (GOLDEN TRUST No.2, ORANDA, JING CHANG SHOU 28, GOLDEN TRUST No.3, HONG LI) from Hon Net anchorage and the main Port. The Christmas Celebration was warm and full of friendship with Vietnamese, Chinese and English famous songs. The dancing party brought everyone together and really created good impression on the seafarers and through which showed the hospitality of the staff-members of Cam Pha Port in general and the  Enterprise in particular.
